Doctors in UP implant artificial ears on patient

A team of doctors for the first time in Lucknow have adopted the new technology of osteo-integrated implants and implanted artificial ears on their patient. The doctors of SIPS, super specialty hospital in Lucknow, implanted artificial silicon ears on Mohammad Azeem after his ears were damaged. The cost of the surgery is around one lakh thirty thousand rupees. The surgery lasted for 45 after which minutes Osseo integrated titanium was implanted. The process is known as Osseo integration in which an abutment is placed to fix the artificial ear. It's a screw operated implant which a patient can remove and clean according to his convenience.
