Updated on Jul 23, 2011 09:25 pm IST
After the US investigative agency Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested 62-year-old US citizen Gulam Nabi Fai for alleged ISI links, the home ministry on Saturday said Fai's arrest was long overdue. The home ministry said that they had suspected that money received by him for the NGO Kashmir American Council was provided by Pakistan agencies. Meanwhile, Pakistan has gone on record to protest his arrest and has called it an attempt by the US to insult Islamabad.
