Fare hike not enough: Jet Airways
Updated on Aug 05, 2008 08:22 pm IST
If you feel air fares have hit the roof then think again. India's largest private airline, Jet Airways has made it clear that the recent five to six hikes have still not brought the industry closer to the break even point. Several cost cutting measures by both airlines and government with an additional 15% increase in fares, are required to help airlines fly out of the red. Airlines also want suspension of user development fee or UDF at Bangalore and Hyderabad airports.
