Financial assistance for Manipur raised by 30 percent

Deputy Chairman of India's Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia in New Delhi on Wednesday informed that India has raised financial assistance for northeastern Manipur state by 30 percent to 26 billion rupeesThe annual plan was finalised at a meeting between Ahluwalia and Manipur Chief Okram Ibobi Singh.
