Flood hit Orissa limping to normalcy

This is not an unusual scene in eastern India during monsoons. But these villages in Orissa are gradually limping back to normalcy as floodwaters have receded. According to Balasore district authorities, relief material including food and medicines has reached all the stranded villages and affected people. The area received a record rainfall of 770 mm for three days last week.
