Floods in southern India lead to price rise

The floods in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka have lead to an increase in the prices of onions in Maharashtra. The floods have destroyed onion crops in the two states and have affected its availability and prices in Nasik of Maharashtra, a major producer of the vegetable.
