With the wedding season kick starting early this week, the prices of flowers have jumped three-fold. Traders say that the demand for flowers has gone up by almost 20-25 per cent compared to last year. Taking a look at specific varieties, the wholesale prices of Tulip and vibrant Lilies have gone up to Rs 60 a stick, against just about Rs 20 during the off-peak season.
