G K Vasan asks Tamil Nadu to review decision on Rajiv Gandhi killers

Shipping Minister, G K Vasan asked Tamil Nadu to review its decision to release assassins of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayaram Jayalalithaa, plans to release the seven convicts in the killing of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi after the Supreme Court commuted death sentences of three to life imprisonment because of an 11-year delay in deciding on their petitions for mercy. However, Supreme Court has stayed their release.
