Geelani's ultimatum to J&K govt over Dogra certificate
Updated on Apr 19, 2011 09:45 pm IST
Separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Monday warned of a fresh unrest in Jammu and Kashmir if the state government does not withdraw its decision to issue Dogra certificates to residents of Jammu by April 30. While addressing a seminar at his residence in Srinagar, Geelani said issuing Dogra Certificate has no legal base or justification. This is a part of a larger conspiracy to divide the people of Jammu and Kashmir and divert their attention from the ongoing movement.
