GJM Chief Bimal Gurung to meet Chidambaram over Gorkhaland

Gorkha Janamukti Morcha Chief Bimal Gurung, who is in New Delhi to hold talks with the central government over the group's demand for a separate Gorkhaland state, is scheduled to meet Home Minister P. Chidambaram today, regarding the issue. They are likely to discuss issues related to the interim administrative set-up, proposed by the GJM during the fifth round of tripartite talks in New Delhi. The talks take place ahead of the sixth round of tripartite talks involving the GJM, central government and eastern West Bengal state government representatives on May 14.
