Gujjar protests hit Delhi

North India continues to be rocked by the violent Gujjar protests. A day before the announced NCR Bandh, demonstrators burnt tyres and blocked traffic on a major road in New Delhi on Wednesday to press for their demands. Gujjars are demading for the Scheduled tribe status for their community. They have threatened to block traffic and not allow milk and fruits and vegetables into Delhi during the Bandh.
