The 26 long Gujjars agitation is all set to be called off as the Rajasthan Govt broke the ice. After a marathon nine hour long final round of talks on Tuesday between a government delegation and Gujjars headed by Colonel Bainsla, both sides claimed success and confirmed that an agreement has been reached. Although the government has not granted them the desired ST status, it has agreed to grant about four per cent reservation for Gujjars under a special category.
