Haj sales increase in Srinagar

As the first batch of Haj pilgrims left for Jeddah in Saudi Arabia from Srinagar on Thursday, the sale of religious products there has suddenly gone up as more people are preparing for the pilgrimage to Mecca. Haj is considered to be an imperative duty for he Muslims and the annual pilgrimage needs lots of preparations. The sales escalate from ten thousand to almost forty thousand rupees during this shopping spree.
