HSGPC Sikh leaders take over Haryana shrine

Following a protest the self-appointed president of the newly formed Haryana Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee Jagdish Singh Jhinda on Sunday took charge of the holy shrine Chhavin Patshahi Gurudwara in Kurukshetra. For long time, Sikh leaders in Haryana have been demanding a separate Gurudwara management body for their religious places at par with the Sikh apex body, the Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee.
