IIFA charity to rehabilitate affected Tamils in Sri Lanka

Mumbai-based International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) in Mumbai on Wednesday declared that it has initiated a charity project to provide rehabilitation measures for the Tamilians of Sri Lanka who suffered hardships due to decades-old war between the country's defence forces and the rebel Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). This charity includes housing, literacy and rehabilitation measures for around 100 families in the northern and eastern parts of Sri Lanka.
