India can achieve 9-10 percent growth: Mukherjee

India's finance minister Pranab Mukherjee on Friday in New Delhi said that the country is poised for 9-10 percent growth rate if the current trend continues. India's economy grew an annual 7.9 percent in the quarter through September,its fastest in 18 months, prompting the finance ministry to revise the growth forecast for the current fiscal year to around 8 percent from 7.0 percent.
