India gears up for 'safe' welcome of Commonwealth tourists

India has always been known as the country with the principle of 'Atithi Devo Bhave'. And the upcoming Commonwealth Games is going to be a great opportunity to showcase this. Thus, Hospitality industry led by Shimla Hoteliers Association in collaboration with Tourism Industry Stakeholder welfare Society and Himachal Pradesh Civil Defence has organised a-three day special safety training for tourism from Wednesday till Friday in Shimla so as to cater better service, safety and security to the guests visiting the state during the Games. Participants believe that arrangements for safety of tourists, especially if they are coming in large numbers, is a very important aspect of the hospitality business.
