Foreign Ministry has taken serious note of visa denial by Canada to Indian citizens and is in touch with the Canadian High Commission on this issue. It may be recalled that the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi had denied visa to Fateh Singh Pandher, a former personnel of paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) by contending that this outfit was a 'violent' and 'notorious' force. According to media reports, two new such cases have recently emerged.
