The influx of illegal Bhutanese currency in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal has posed a threat to India's economy,as traders of the region prefer the process for their century-old cross-border trade process.Due to a lack of exchange offices,the Bhutanese pay in Ngultrum, Bhutanese currency.The exchange of the Bhutan currency along with the Indian currency has become an everyday practice for the traders and businessmen of the region.
