Infosys Q2 profit zooms by 7.5 per cent

Infosys Technologies Limited reported a 7.5 per cent rise in quarterly profit and said it expected annual sales and profit to fall less than previously forecast as global demand for outsourcing grows. Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Infosys Technologies S Gopalakrishnan said Infosys won nine deals worth more than $50 million in the last six months and was chasing 12-15 more.
