Inquiry into Kingfisher flights cancellation

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has initiated an inquiry into the cancellation of Kingfisher Airlines flights. According to reports, Kingfisher cancelled about 80 flights across the country without any pre-notification, leaving passengers stranded. While it stopped 16 flights in Mumbai, it also stopped operations in Kolkata.
