Investigation on in Adarsh housing scam: Army Chief

Army chief Gen V K Singh on Wednesday said that "an inquiry is on" into the Adarsh Cooperative Housing Society scam, in which at least two former Army chiefs, a retired Navy chief, several senior military officers, bureaucrats and politicians have benefited by getting apartments in a highrise building in Colaba in Mumbai. The complex is built on land that was in army custody and in the name of Kargil war widows.
