IOC unhappy over tenure limitations of sports bosses

Slamming union Sports Minister MS Gill over tenure limitations, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) on Tuesday said the Ministry's attempt would erode the autonomy of various federations and governing bodies of sports, leading to sanctions against the country. He also mentioned that if the work of federations is not satisfactory, the concerned office bearers can be voted out as such the directive issued by the Sports Ministry is illogical.
