Jat agitation continues, road, rail links disrupted

Jat community activists held massive demonstrations and intensified their protests in Hissar district of Haryana on Thursday demanding reservations in government jobs and educational institutions. Protestors blocked roadways and railways that connect Hisar to other important places in the state, and said that they are determined to get the reservations. Enraged protestors also burnt the effigy of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.
