Updated on Dec 25, 2010 08:08 pm IST
Hours after the Central Bureau of Investigation conducted raids at his residences in New Delhi and Pune, a rattled Suresh Kalmadi, Chairman of the 2010 Commonwealth Games Organising Committee, revealed on Friday, all financial decisions were taken after consultations with other committees. Defending himself over the allegations of graft and corruption levelled against him, Kalmadi said the budget allocated to the Organising Committee was restricted to a mere '4-5 percent' of the entire amount spent in the preparations and conduct of the Games.
