Kashmiri Pandit settlement row: JKLF supporters clash with police, Yasin Malik detained

Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Yasin Malik lodged a protest against Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on Friday after a plan to create segregated colonies for Kashmiri Pandits in the state was proposed. In the clash between JKLF supporters and the state police,more than two dozen people were injured. JKLF leader Yasin Malik was also detained. On Thursday, Mufti said he will take all the stake holders in confidence before accepting Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh's request of creating separate zones for Kashmiri Pandits in the state.
