Women in Kolkata associated with a women's welfare project are selling a wide range of products including Kashmir apples and handicrafts in an attempt to develop a unique sustainable business project. Associated with Project Sukanya, women in both Kashmir and Kolkata are reaping rich benefits. Sukanya is targeting a chain of one lakh specially designed vehicles or retail outlets by 2009, spread over villages and cities.
