Kochi hosts international flower show

Kochi witnessed a riot of colors as country's first international Anthurium cut flower show, coincided with the Onam festival season. The show is organised by National Horticultural Board and the Department of Agriculture of Kerala. More than 20, 000 varieties of Anthurium out of which 12, 000 were imported and rest collected from different states in India were showcased at the show, aimed at promoting Anthurium cultivation commercially in the state.
