Manipur welcomes suspension of blockade from NH-39

People in Manipur have welcomed the suspension of a two-month-long blockade of a vital highway, that had caused food and fuel shortages in the state. The Naga Students Federation (NSF), one of the main groups behind the blockade, announced the suspension after a meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Monday (June 14).
