Maoist aid intercepted by police in Jharkhand

A consignment of communication equipment sent from New Delhi and meant for the Maoists was intercepted by the Jharkhand police from the state airport on Tuesday. The recovered equipment includes walkie-talkies, a number of radio sets, micro tape recorders and signal receivers, among others. Police officials said two persons involved in the operation were arrested, one from Jharkhand and the other from New Delhi.
