People facing brunt of soaring prices during maoist shutdown in West Bengal. Reeling under maoist menace is a common thing for the Naxals prone states but now the commoners are facing the brunt of rising food prices led by frequent shutdown calls by the rebels. In West Bengal vegetable prices are on the rise, as supplies have dried up in the market amidst a Maoist shutdown.
