Maoists now target local militia bodies fighting against them

From the time central government launched its anti Maoist operation green hunt, there has been a notable increase in the Maoist menace. And now after targeting security forces, police, locals, state's infrastructure,the rebels have started attacking local militia formed to fight them. In one such attack, Maoists recently killed a member of Salwa Judum, a local militia formed to fight Maoists, in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. The rebels killed Rajkumar Nayak,a senior leader of Salwa Judum, in the wee hours of Sunday morning, while he was on way to his home.
