Maoists torch trucks in Bihar

Maoists set on fire two trucks in Bihar in the wee hours of Friday. Police said the attack was carried out as part of a shutdown called by Maoist groups to protest the arrest of leader, Jagdish Yadav. Narrating the incident, eyewitnesses said most of the attackers were youths. In a major crackdown on violent insurgency, CPI (Maoist) leader and naxalites' think-tank, Jagdish Yadav alias Jagdish Master was arrested during a joint operation conducted by the police and the paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel on June 13.
