Maruti Suzuki launches Alto K10

Maruti Suzuki India unveiled the highly awaited Alto K-10 in national capital New Delhi on Wednesday, amid much fanfare. The new version will be available in two variants - the Lxi and the Vxi. Both the variants are equipped with electric assist power steering, and a fuel-efficient 67bhp, 998cc, three-cylinder engine. Priced in the rupees three hundred thousand bracket, the Alto K10 would provide a fuel economy of 20.2 kilometres per litre, according to the company executives. Expressing his joy on the momentous occasion, Shinzo Nakanishi, Managing Director of Maruti Suzuki India said that the car, which would cater to the needs of the common man.
