The killing of General Manager, Avneesh Kumar Dev and the destruction of property at the Maruti Suzuki plant in Manesar has shocked Haryana chief minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, prompting him to order a speedy investigation and fair trial in the case. Maruti Suzuki India Limited Chairman, RC Bhargava, rubbished the reports of the plant being relocated from the state as fictional. Meanwhile, an eyewitness to the violence recalled that none of the senior managers present inside the administration block was spared from the beating, which eventually ended with the brutal murder of Dev.
