Menon reaches home; CM denies secret deal with Maoists

In a major sigh of relief for the Chhattisgarh Government, an elated Sukma Collector, Alex Paul Menon, was escorted back home amid a convoy of cars, where his family and hundreds of other villagers waited with baited breath, as anxiety finally gave way to jubilation. The Maoists had released the abducted Sukma collector Alex Paul Menon yesterday after almost two weeks in captivity. Ending all speculations, regarding Menon's release, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh denied any backroom dealing with the Maoists.
