Modi attends tilak ceremony of Mulayam Singh Yadav's grandnephew

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the pre-wedding ceremony or Tilak of Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's grandnephew Tej Pratap Yadav in Saifai village. Tej Pratap is marrying Raj Lakshmi, the youngest daughter of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad. A staggering 100,000 invites have been sent out for the ceremony. Tej Pratap Singh Yadav is a Lok Sabha member from Mainpuri. Saifai village, some 25 km from Etawah, is buzzing with frantic activity for the ceremony. Delicacies like bedai, baati-chokha and halwa soaked in desi ghee would be served. According to reports, Amitabh Bachchan has also confirmed his presence. Mulayam Singh had personally invited Modi for the ceremony.
