Modi is making false promises for vote bank: Mayawati

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Chief Mayawati criticised BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and said he is fake and has been making false promises. Mayawati said Modi is lying by connecting himself to the backward class, only to lure people from the marginalized section and gain vote bank. She also said that her party would do anything to make sure that BJP and Modi do not come to power in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Stating that her party should not be considered weak with regard to the forthcoming elections, Mayawati said there is a possibility that her party might become the balance of power.
