Updated on May 05, 2010 09:49 pm IST
The family members and other friends of Phool Chand, the taxi driver who was shot dead by the Mumbai attackers after they hired his cab on the way to their targets, urged that capital punishment be meted out for Mohammad Ajmal Kasab, a Pakistani national found guilty in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Phool chand's wife said that unlike Afzal Guru, the condemned prisoner for the attack on the Indian Parliament House in 2001 and who is yet to be executed, Kasab should be hanged immediately.
