ND Tiwari's blood samples reach DNA lab
Updated on Jun 02, 2012 12:22 pm IST
Officials submitted blood samples of veteran Congress party leader ND Tiwari and petitioner Rohit Shekhar, who claims to be his biological son, for a DNA test at the Forensic Laboratory in Hyderabad. Accompanied by officials, Shekhar told mediapersons that he had been anxiously waiting for this day, as it would mark an end to his agony of identity crisis in social circles. Shekhar also added that he suspected probable unsavoury incidents due to Tiwari's political clout in Andhra Pradesh, since he had served as a governor of the state.
