NDA slams Bhardwaj over controversial recommendation

Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader Arun Jaitley on Monday said the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) strongly condemned the action of Karnataka Governor H. R. Bhardwaj for his recommendation that President's rule be instituted in the state. Earlier in the day, the NDA had held a meeting in New Delhi over Bhardwaj's recommendation. Jaitley accused Bhardwaj of defying all the constitutional norms and principles.
