Hundreds participated in the 'Earth Hour Cyclothon' in New Delhi on Saturday, as part of a campaign to encourage people to save energy and minimize the use of fossil fuel. Earth Hour is a World Wide Fund for nature (WWF) initiative symbolizing the collective power of individuals, businesses and governments to take step to fight climate change. More than 500 cyclists including school and college students and young professionals participated in the cyclothon. Every year Earth Hour is observed towards the end of March and during this hour landmarks in thousands of cities will turn off the power for Earth Hour, an event promoting a sustainable future for the planet. Keywords: 'Earth Hour Cyclothon', Campaign, WWF, Save Energy, Fossil Fuel
