Updated on Oct 08, 2012 11:41 am IST
Haryana Chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has asserted that the accused people in the rape of a minor in Jind will not be spared. Hooda's remarks came after the death of the victim, who had immolated herself to escape the social stigma attached to the cruel act perpetrated on her. Media reports indicate that the girl was gang raped by three men after being dragged into a house. The police managed to arrest all four persons accused in the case, including a woman. The accused were produced in a local court on Sunday, with two of them being remanded to police custody.
