The crisis in the debt-laden national carrier Air India continued as the pilots' strike entered its fifteenth day. Air India sacked 30 more of its striking pilots taking the number of pilots who have lost their jobs so far up to 101. The AI crackdown came on a day when civil aviation minister Ajit Singh met leaders of 10 recognized airline unions in Delhi and appealed to them to persuade the IPG to call off their strike.
