NRHM scam: CBI raids residences of ex UP health min

The CBI on Saturday carried out raids at the residences of former health minister of Uttar Pradesh, Anant Mishra for his alleged involvement in the multi-million National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) scam. In the wee hours of Saturday the sleuths of CBI carried out simultaneous raids at the residences of Mishra in Lucknow and Kanpur. The probe agency has questioned Mishra on two previous occasions in connection to the death of deputy chief medical officer, YS Sachan. Anant Mishra's wife Shikha Mishra while interacting with reporters said that her husband was innocent and such investigations had come in the wake of political rivalry. The CBI reportedly seized some documents from Mishra's residence related to NRHM.
