Odisha govt committed to Italian hostage’s release: Italian Envoy

Italian ambassador Giacomo Sanfelice Di Monteforte has said that the government of Odisha is very much committed to the early release of the Italian hostage - Paolo Bosusco - from the captivity of Maoists. Monteforte said this after coming out of a meeting with top state officials in Bhubaneswar. The meeting was called after the officials got an audiotape released by Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda refusing to release the Italian tourist.
