Jammu and Kashmir Chief Omar Abdullah on Wednesday assured action against those responsible for the recent killings of youth in the strife torn region. Speaking to the local media, Abdullah asserted that no one is above the law. Referring to the recent young deaths in the region the state chief called for forming neighbourhood committees to keep a watch on the youth of the area. Government forces in the revolt-torn Himalayan state in the past have been accused of murdering innocent civilians in staged gun battles and passing them off as separatist militants to earn rewards and promotions.
