Defence Minister, A K Antony in New Delhi on Wednesday said that the major focus of his ministry is to develop and enhance indigenous defence production within the country, rather than relying on foreign manufacturers and suppliers for military hardware. Commenting on Barack Obama's recent announcement of removing certain organisations from restricted trade 'entity list', Antony said that it is too early to comment on the move right now but the lifting of the embargo is a welcome sign.
