Parekh, Ganguly ask India Inc to back govt's FDI in retail

India Inc has come out strongly against what they call is the false and perceived dangers of FDI in Modern Retail Trade. Deepak Parekh, the non-executive Chairman of HDFC and Ashok Ganguly, the former chairman of Hindustan Lever Ltd have said that any sort of opposition to FDI was regressive in nature. Parekh and Ganguly have said that it was illusory to believe that the market would be flooded with FDI.
