Patil's foreign trip with kin normal practice: Govt

Government has termed the controversy over travelling of President Pratibha Devi Singh Patil with her grandchildren to Seychelles and South Africa during her official trip as unnecessary. Addressing media persons in Pretoria, Presidential spokesperson Archana Dutta said that it is a normal diplomatic practice. Similarly in New Delhi, Syed Akbaruddin, spokesperson, Foreign Ministry, echoed on the same lines urging mediapersons not to fuel hue and cry over the matter
